Minecraft Block Id

Blocks the basic units in Minecraft, and essential to the gameplay create the in-game environment, and can be mined and utilized in various fashions.
With a standard face the block features 16×16 pixels; each is proportionately one cubic meter and static, though Lava, Fire blocks, Water and Portal do have a pattern that shifts for every face.

Those entries marked with a ‘D’ require additional data values, whilst those marked with an ‘I’ have a different ID as an inventory item. To fully define the inventory item, those marked with a B require additional inventory data. The T marked entries have tile entities associated with them to store additional data whereas items with red IDs cannot be legitimately obtained by the player as they are only accessible through "hacking" (Such as using an inventory editor) or, in multiplayer servers, using the give command. In the Creative mode only items in blue are obtainable, while in survival mode the Silk Touch enchantment are green.

Data Values provides the full list inclusive of over one hundred different types of blocks, such as air, still Water, still Lava that cannot be constructed, different forms of wood, different wool colors, different forms of Slabs, Pressure Plates, Double Slabs and Stairs.

One can source Stone, Air, Snow, Lapis Lazuli Ore, Lava, Grass, Water, Coal Ore, Dirt, Water Source, Sand, Lava Source, Gold Ore, Sandstone, Wood, Diamond Ore, Gravel, Iron Ore, Redstone Ore, Ice, Wooden Planks, Clay Block, Birch Wood, Bedrock in derelict Mines Pine/Spruce Wood, Cactus, Leaves, Vines, Sugar Canes, red and yellow Flowers, Pumpkins, living and dead Shrubs, red and brown Mushrooms, as well as Tall Grass in a typical arbitrarily generated Map.

In Secret Friday Update you will encounter dungeons, Moss Stone, Cobblestone, Chests and a Mob Spawner, even though chests and cobblestone are generally made by the player. You may randomly meet Wooden Planks, Cobblestone, Pressure Plates, Fences, Crafting Tables, Bookshelves, Torches, Stairs, Iron Bars, Black Wool, Chests, Lava and Furnaces in the generated NPC villages that were included in 1.8, while Mossy Stone Brick, Stone Brick, Iron Bars, Cracked Stone Brick, Monster Spawner, End Portal Frame, Wooden Planks, Bookshelves, Chest, Fence and Cobweb are seen in the strongholds and abandoned mines.  Although obsidian is sourced naturally, it is separate from the arbitrary generation; but is made when water and naturally happening lava source blocks make contact. Cobblestone is sourced naturally and made in the same circumstances as obsidian, with the exception being that it is formed when moving lava and water make contact. The dungeons are part cobblestone.
